Kate Spade started out designing accessories. She then began to design a specific handbag that she could not find any where. She then launched her hand bag line in 1993. Kate has now expanded her line to shoes, eye wear and even paper goods.

A 1898 Gucci Series Lincoln Town car was scheduled to be offered, per pricing guides, but never came to fruition. Lincoln then offered, Emilio Pucci, Bill Blass, Gianni Versace, and Valentino designer editions during the 1970's and 1980's.

The first clothes designed by Emilio Pucci were clothes for Reed College Skiing Team. His designs came to wider attention in 1947. Ski-wear that he had designed for a female friend was photographed by Harper's Bazar. The editor to the magazine then asked Pucci to design a winter fashion line for the 1948 issue of Bazar. This was the start of something great. His designs and material used for his fashion was admired by all.

She designed a dress with lots of bright colors so that the stains would be less noticeable. She found that people loved her dress. She then kept designing and her "juice maker dress" would later become on her clothing line as her "Classic Shift Dress".
